Kethos is a long-form fantasy setting built as a complete world, spanning an entire planet with multiple continents, regional cultures, and centuries of recorded history. It is designed to support a wide range of fantasy campaigns, with an emphasis on political conflict, cultural tension, and historical consequence rather than isolated heroics. Magic and emerging technologies coexist uneasily in Kethos. Empires rise, fracture, and adapt; human-dominated civilizations contend with older forces that have not entirely faded from the world. The setting favors grounded societies, imperfect institutions, and gradual change, making it well-suited for intrigue-driven, exploratory, and long-running play. The core Kethos books are written for the Savage Worlds game system but are deliberately structured so that setting material and game mechanics remain separate. Geography, history, factions, cultures, and assumptions about the world are presented independently of rules, allowing the setting to be used with little or no modification in other systems. System-specific content is clearly contained in dedicated chapters. Additional supplements and adventures expand individual regions and themes, allowing groups to engage with the world at the scale and tone that suits their campaign.
